Caribbean carnival parade and outdoor film screenings cancelled in Derby amid coronavirus lockdown

With no easing of Covid-19 lockdown rules for the leisure industry, Derby City Council has announced that events outdoors and at venues including Derby Arena have been cancelled until at least the end of August.

Cancellations include British Cheerleading at Derby Arena on June 19 and 20, Derby Roundhouse tour on June 27, the Caribbean Carnival parade from the city centre to Osmaston Park on July 19 and outdoor film screenings of Bohemian Rhapsody, The Full Monty, Rocketman and A Star is Born from July 30-August 2 at Markeaton Park.
