Car left at side of road in Chesterfield after smashing into signpost
A car was abandoned at the side of the road after it crashed into a signpost in Chesterfield.
The silver Skoda collided with a fence on Brimington Road, near the Tapton Innovation Centre, at around 3am this morning (Monday, November 20).
A fence at the side of the road was destroyed in the collision. Police said the driver of the Skoda has since been identified and not thought to be harmed.
A police spokesman added: “We are making arrangements to get the car removed from the scene.”
