CALVER: Man trapped after collision between car and lorry
Firefighters from Bakewell and Chesterfield were called to attend a collision between a car and a lorry which had left elderly man trapped.
At 1.42pm on Friday, June 7, crews attended the incident on the A625 road in Calver, on the bridge over the River Derwent.
Upon arrival firefighters found one man trapped in the car as a result of his injuries and used cutting equipment to saw the car roof off.
The man was safely extracted from the vehicle and left in the care of paramedics.
