PCSO Anthony Boswell and PCSO Ian Phipps from the Hathersage and Tideswell Safer Neighbourhood Team visited the children at Cliff College Nursery on Friday, December 5.

During the visit, the officers spoke to around 18 children aged two to four years old about the importance of staying safe around roads and issues around stranger danger such as always staying with parents or guardians when out and about.

The children also learnt all about the role of a PCSO and what they do to help keep local communities safe.

PCSO Anthony Boswell from the Hathersage Safer Neighbourhood Team said: “Visits such as this are a great way for us to speak to children at an early age to introduce ourselves so that they know who we are and what we can do to help to keep them safe.”
