Burglars strike near Chesterfield while homeowners were inside

The incident happened at a house on Main Road, Old Brampton, between 10.30pm and 10.45pm on Wednesday, July 18 whilst the homeowners were inside.

The burglar is described as a white man, aged late teens to early twenties, approximately 5ft 10ins tall and of slim build. He was wearing all dark clothing.

A Derbyshire police spokesperson said: "If you were in the area and saw something suspicious, or if you drove down Main Road at around that time and your vehicle has a dash cam facility, we are keen to hear from you."
