Burglar wearing camel jacket on the prowl in Matlock

Crown Derby ornaments, a Kindle, a laptop and jewellery were among the items stolen during a burglary in Matlock.

Sometime between 10am and 12.15am on Tuesday, a house on High Tor Road was broken into.

A man was seen acting suspiciously in the area at the time.

He was described as white, unshaven, 6ft tall, of a thin build and aged between 30 and 40. He was wearing a camel jacket.
