Chesterfield magistrates’ court heard on Wednesday, August 13, how Christopher Brown, 26, of New Bolsover, Bolsover, stole £30 of meat and £20 of cleaning products.
Prosecuting solicitor Becky Allsop said Brown was identified on CCTV from the store. He told police he had stolen the goods to help feed his children after he had split up with his partner.
