BOLSOVER: Inquest opens into death of man found in Carr Vale pond
An inquest into the death of a Bolsover man who was found dead in a pond in Carr Vale has been opened and adjourned.
John Stephen Porter, 21, of Springfield Crescent, was found in fishing ponds by police on routine patrols, just over a week after he was reported missing.
Derbyshire Police said there are thought to be no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.
Chesterfield and north Derbyshire’s coroner, Dr Robert Hunter, adjourned the inquest to a date to be set.
