Body found in search for missing Sheffield woman

Jessica Hardy, 37, was last seen in the Handsworth area of the city shortly before 9pm on Wednesday. Her partner reported her missing immediately afterwards.

South Yorkshire Police tonight said a body had been found.

A force spokesperson said: “While formal identification is yet to take place, we do believe it to be that of Jessica.

“Her family are now being supported by specially-trained officers.”
