Birthday boys and girls go free

Children celebrating their birthday this weekend are in for a treat as Matlock Bath theme park Gulliver’s is inviting them for a free day out to help the attraction celebrate its own special day.

Gulliver’s turns 35 this week and kids who also celebrate their birthday this weekend – July 6 and 7 – are urged to come and join in the fun at the park absolutely free of charge.

All children need to gain free entry is proof of their date of birth and one full-paying adult accompanying them.

Families can also meet special guest, Mansfield-born Paralympic gold medallist Oliver Hynd, step back in time in Doctor Who’s Tardis and zingbop along to performances from CBeebies ZingZillas!

The park is offering family tickets at the specially discounted birthday price of just £35 for four people throughout Saturday, July 6 and Sunday, July 7.

Gulliver’s Kingdom opened in 1978, and has been one of the Midlands’ most popular tourist attractions for the last 35 years.
