Armed police catch designer thieves in Shirebrook

Police have arrested a man and a woman who had 19 high value designer garments, big holdalls, wire cutters and no receipts in their car in Shirebrook.

Derbyshire Roads Policing Unit‏, Derbyshire Armed Policing Unit and Shirebrook Safer Neighbourhood Team pulled over the vehicle which had links to shop thefts yesterday.

A Roads Policing Unit‏ spokesman said: "Stopped to find 19 high value designer garments, big holdalls, wire cutters but amazingly no receipts. Confirmed as stolen 10 minutes previous. Male and female arrested."
