Police have been increasing patrols in the area and want to hear from anyone who may know who is responsible for the damage.

PC Sally Horner, from Dronfield Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team, which covers the area, said: “Mindless vandalism like this has a huge impact on the victims, as well as the wider community, and it simply will not be tolerated.

“During December a number of vehicles in the same area were damaged, which may or may not be connected, and in recent weeks damage has been caused to local buildings. The incidents have all happened late at night or during the early hours of the morning during weekends.

“Our team has been increasing patrols and carrying out enquiries to try and find those responsible and I would urge anyone with information to contact us, and for residents to report any suspicious activity to the police.”

Anyone with information relating to any of the above incidents should call Derbyshire police on 101 quoting crime number 3571/16, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
