APPEAL: Man fled after allegedly stealing from supermarket

A CCTV image has been released as part of an investigation into the theft of items from a supermarket in Somercotes.

A man walked into the Co-op store in Somercotes Hill and placed a selection of items from the fridge into a carrier bag.

He then went to leave the store and ran off when he was challenged by staff.

A CCTV still has now been issued of a man police want to speak to.
