Ten pairs of brand new Addidas football boots have been stolen from the garage of a young British athlete living in the Chesterfield area.

The boots had been delivered by mistake to the home of GB hurdler Alicia Barrett, and instead of taking them back, Addidas agreed for them to be donated to a good cause.

They were being stored in a garage, waiting to be delivered to a school in an under privileged area, but were stolen sometime between Sunday, February 26 and Monday, February 27.

Nine out of the ten pairs came in boxes and they look like they are a lime green or bright yellow colour.
