Amy Winehouse charity to hold drug information event in Matlock

A charity set up after the death of singer Amy Winehouse is to host a special information event aimed at raising awareness about drugs.

The Amy Winehouse Foundation Resilience Programme evening will take place at the Imperial Rooms, on Imperial Road, Matlock, between 6pm and 8pm tomorrow.

The event, which has been organised alongside police, Matlock Town Council and Highfields School, will be entitled ‘why young people really use drugs and alcohol and what we can do to prevent it’.
