A38 crash: Collision along busy Derbyshire A-road leads to major delays for drivers ahead of rush hour

A collision on a major Derbyshire A-road is causing significant disruption for motorists this afternoon.

Traffic monitoring site Inrix has reported that the A38 Northbound is partially blocked following an accident.

The incident has occurred between the B6179 Derby Road at Coxbench and the Hartshay Roundabout along the A610 in Ripley.

Drivers are being warned of long delays this afternoon, with congestion building up towards the Little Eaton Island.

Roads through Kilburn are also congested as motorists seek alternative routes to complete their journeys.
