Earlier this month we published THIS list of 11 common complaints made by the people of the town. But enough of the negativity - it's now time to bring you 11 fantastic things about Chesterfield...

What a beautiful church. We're so blessed to have the wonderful Crooked Spire. Next time you walk past this world-famous building, stop and admire it - and be grateful.
The vast majority of Cestrefeldians are absolute diamonds. They're friendly, kind, generous, hard-working, funny - the positive list goes on. We all know loads of great Chesterfield folk. Tell them they're amazing today.

There are so many fantastic local businesses in Chesterfield. People from other areas often tell us they wish their town centre was as good. Please back our local businesses - it's a case of use them or lose them.
Chesterfield has a brilliant selection of theatres, restaurants, pubs, clubs and nightclubs. Go out, have fun and enjoy the town's nightlife. Cheers!
It's an exciting time for Chesterfield with multiple developments taking place. The town is evolving and benefiting from many millions of pounds of investment. We're lucky.
Plenty of fun-filled events and attractions take place in Chesterfield to put a smile on people's faces. Just one example - remember the big wheel in the town centre last year? :-)
Chesterfield folk have several lovely green spaces on their doorstep including Queens Park and Holmebrook Valley Park. Perfect for a relaxing walk or a picnic with the family!

Chesterfield is close to major cities and situated on the edge of the stunning Peak District National Park. It's ideally located if you want to explore other places.
