Pictures show Chesterfield shoppers enjoying the return to retail as the town centre re-opens

Shoppers have returned Chesterfield town centre as non essential shops re-opened for the first time in three months.

After closing in March due to concerns about the spread of coronavirus a number of shops have started trading again today, with queues outside a number of stores including Primark and Currys PC World.

Our pictures show how shoppers enjoyed the return to retail.
