Jessica’s anthem, entitled Who You Are, will be released on Monday, April 11.

Taken from Jessica’s forthcoming EP released later this year, Who You Are was tracked at the legendary AIR Studios, London under the guidance of veteran producer Matt Butler (Phil Collins, Luther Vandross). Keen to keep Jessica’s music as unprocessed as possible, Butler highlights her impressive vocal range with raw live production offering a genuine alternative to today’s female pop artists.

The new release is bound to be on the playlist at her gig at Manchester’s Band on the Wall on May 2 where she will be supporting award-winning folk star Blair Dunlop. She will also be singing at Greystones, Sheffield, on May 25 where she will support Mishka Shubaly. On May 26 she sings at The Flowerpot, Derby, again supporting Blair Dunlop.

Birmingham-born Jessica combines modern pop influences such as Jess Glynne and Emeli Sande with classic artists such as Tracey Chapman and Fleetwood Mac so it’s little wonder that she has caught the attention of the music world with exclusive live sessions and multiple plays with BBC Introducing.
