First look inside new Chesterfield homes

Chesterfield-based housebuilder Avant Homes Central, of Holmewood business park, has opened two show homes at its Egstow Park development in Clay Cross.

Located off Market Street, the 97-home development is part of the wider £23-million Egstow Park regeneration scheme.

The multi-million pound development – which will rejuvenate the sprawling brownfield former Biwater industrial site off Derby Road and Market Street – will include 825 new homes, a neighbourhood centre, retail units, a hotel and large areas of green open space and woodland.

Avant’s scheme features a collection three and four-bedroom semi-detached and detached homes across 10 styles – there are currently four-bedroom homes available, with prices ranging from £284,995.

The show homes include the three-bedroom Melton, alongside the four-bedroom Holbury, featuring open-plan living areas, designer kitchens and full-height tiled bathrooms. Bi-fold doors are included in every property as standard, allowing natural light to fill the open-plan living areas, which also benefit from high ceilings and large windows.
