The team at the helm of the Three Horseshoes in Brimington have taken on the former Katie’s Sandwich Bar on High Street – rebranding it as Cobs and Cakes.
The Derbyshire Times was invited to learn more about the revamped shop – and these photos offer a glimpse inside.

5. Positive response from locals
Will said: “We’ve been open since October 19 and the response has been really good. Our vision is to offer Brimington something a little different. Alongside freshly prepared sandwiches and cobs, we're introducing a delicious selection of handmade pies, sausage rolls, cakes, sweet treats and other freshly prepared deli favourites.” Photo: Brian Eyre

6. Investment in the area
Will said: “We've put a lot of time, effort and investment into creating a shop that the local community can be proud of. Somewhere people can pop in for their morning breakfast, grab a freshly made lunch, pick up a homemade treat or simply enjoy a friendly chat.” Photo: Brian Eyre

7. “Creating something special”
Will said: “For us, this is about much more than opening another sandwich shop. It's about breathing new life into an established local business, supporting our village high street and creating something special for the people of Brimington and the surrounding areas.” Photo: Brian Eyre

8. Updated opening hours
Will said: “The shop was previously open between 8.00am and 2.00pm from Monday to Friday. We’re now open seven days a week, from 8.00am until 4.00pm between Monday and Friday, 8.00am until 1.00pm on Saturdays and from 9.00am until 1.00pm on Sundays.” Photo: Brian Eyre
