Tier restrictions and subsequent lockdowns have meant pubs in north Derbyshire have been closed since last year and residents are eagerly awaiting confirmation on when they can have their first “proper pint”.
The dates on the roadmap are currently provisional and Prime Minister Boris Johnson says the Government will continue to be “driven by the data”. However, it currently looks likely that the initial phase of allowing outdoor drinking and dining on April 12 will go ahead.
Should all go to plan, the area’s outdoor hospitality venues, such as beer gardens, could reopen on that date and punters could be allowed to meet indoors at a pub or restaurant in groups of up to six people, or two households, from May 17.
We have put together a list of the pubs that plan to open, according to their social media pages, and will be updating this page when venues release more details about their plans.
