New bistro cafe coming to Crystal Peaks as major revamp continues

The exciting addition, due to open this month, comes from the team behind the popular Shhhh Coffee, which has been a fixture at the centre’s library for nearly a decade.

Tino’s will be situated in the East Mall and serve breakfast, lunch and early evening meals, with dishes including traditional fish and chips and a range of delicious desserts.

“Shhhh has been a real success story from its base in Crystal Peaks Library and will continue to trade there into the future,” said Centre Manager Lee Greenwood.

“The opening of Tino’s will, however, give the company the opportunity to delight a whole new range of customers with a delicious menu and friendly service, accommodating more customers and bringing a welcome food offer to another side of the centre.

“We are really excited to be able to support local independent businesses to grow and reach new customers.”

A spokesperson for Tino’s said: “We are really excited to work with Crystal Peaks, bringing something new and fresh to the centre, whilst helping generate lots of new jobs within the community and all working towards a brighter future.”

Work has begun to create five new retail units, including space for a gym or similar business, at the East Mall.

The new units are set to be completed by July, with the occupiers ready to move on site by September, and bosses say they already have two new businesses lined up.
