The Barley Mow on Langer Lane, Wingerworth officially reopened on April 6 after a period of closure.
Anya Flude and her husband Simon have taken on the venue – and said they were “proud and excited” to welcome customers through the doors again.

5. Upgraded bar

6. Open every day
One of the major changes is that the pub now opens every day of the week. Anya said: “The pub had been closed constantly on Mondays and Tuesdays. We’re now open seven days a week, from noon till 11.00pm at night - just to give people a bit more opportunity.” Photo: Brian Eyre
7. Boost for Wingerworth residents
