The Church Inn, found in Darley Dale, was relaunched by new landlord Andrew Fairburn and Mandy Tyler – after being closed for half a year.
Our photographer has visited the newly refurbished venue – and these photos show what to expect now the pub has been brought back to life.

6. Plans for the future
Andrew said: “We’re also introducing regular entertainment, bands, quiz nights and music bingo. There are plans for outdoor music in the future as well.” Photo: Brian Eyre
7. ‘Cracking beer gardens’
Andrew said: “The brewery is now starting to spend some money on the outside, to get the beer gardens looking more appealing. We’ve got two cracking beer gardens. The one at the back is really private, and the one at the front sits right next to the steam train line – it’s a cracking setting.” Photo: Brian Eyre
8. Positive start to life
The pub officially reopened on March 13 - and Andrew said they have had a “great response” from punters. Photo: Brian Eyre
