The popular coffee shop chain said that after re-opening two drive-thrus and delivery stores last Friday as a trial during the coronavirus lockdown, it has now decided to open more outlets.
In a tweet yesterday, the firm said: “Since opening two drive-thru and two delivery stores last Friday we’ve had a fantastic response from our team members and customers.

“As such, and with the support of the Government, we will be increasing the number of drive-thru lanes and stores open for delivery via Uber Eats from tomorrow (May 2).”
When asked by one Twitter user about Costa’s plans for Meadowhall, the firm said: “There's no current plans to re-open here just yet but we'll keep you updated.”
The drive-thrus opening today are Bodelwyddan, Croydon, Edingburgh Sharpdale, Enterprise Swansea, Faringdon, Glasgow Braehead, Harwich, Ipswich, Manchester White City, Mansfield Sutton Road, Norwich, Poole, Sittingbourne, St Ives, Stowmarket, Toddington North, Toddington South, Wakefield Snowhill, Watford Arches Retail Park.
Outlets open for delivery only, via Uber Eats, are Avonmeads Retail Park, Birmingham Navigation Street, Edingburgh South Bridge, Leeds Crown Point, Leicester St George’s Retail Park, Manchester Oxford Road, Newcastle Gallowgate Wellbar, Peckham, Peterborough Brotherhood Retail Park, Plymouth New George, Richmond, Romford Pavilion Retail Park, Tooley Street, Whitechapel.
The UK remains in lockdown, with the government set to review measures to reduce the spread of coronavirus next week.
People can only leave home for shopping, exercise, medical reasons and essential travel to work.
