Family life spares little time for eating out especially in the run-up to Christmas when there’s gifts to buy and Santa’s grotto to visit.

So it’s likely to be a quick bite in a pub or cafe or a takeaway from a chippy if you do manage to grab a meal on your travels.

When we arrived the place was really busy and there was only one table available, which had plates on from the previous customer. Straight away the staff cleaned the table and seated us, our drinks were served quick as there was a lot of staff working, and when we ordered food it came quicker than expected as it was so busy. The customer service was faultless and the food was lovely."
