Volunteers from local CAMRA branches decide which pubs make it into the guide, having visited eligible establishments throughout 2021 to check the quality of their beers.
The Good Beer Guide is the authority on the greatest places for a pint, so here are 11 of the best pubs in Chesterfield and its surrounding areas according to CAMRA.
5. The Miners Arms- Dronfield
The guide describes it as “a traditional village hostelry which has won many local and regional CAMRA branch awards and offers a wide range of beers and real ciders. Regular ales come from Pictish and the nearby Drone Valley Brewery, and there are also three changing guests. It operates a Monday Club with real ales discounted for all customers.” Photo: Google
