Boy's hospital care spurs fun day
A mum has thanked supporters of a fun day which raised £720 for the hospital which cared for her son.
Joe Boyer, 14, of Mastin Moor, was injured in a collision with a motorbike in April and was in a coma in Sheffield Children’s Hospital for two weeks. A fundraiser for the hospital was held at the Blacksmith’s Arms, Calow, to raise £720 for the hospital. The fun day includes bouncy castle, singathon, karaoke and auction.
Joe’s mum Marie said: “We would like to thank the people that helped and donated.”
