“I feel I am nothing without my loyal fan base, so putting myself out there is a very important thing to let them know how much I appreciate them.”
Last year Dan was voted male artist of the year by Blues & Soul Magazine, was rated fourth in the top ten of best rock guitarists in the world by Total Guitar Magazine, as well as one of the top 20 blues rock artists by Blues Magazine. He also received a nomination for best international solo artist for the Planet Rock Radio Rocks Awards.

Introvertigo is his eighth album in 17 years and reflects his evolving songwriting process. Dan said: “I think it has evolved quite a bit over the past decade. Before it was writing songs for guitar playing. Now it’s a case of just writing the best possible song I can.
“I’m an introvert at heart. And all my tunes are self-written. So I see Introvertigo as life through the eyes of an introvert. Love the Introvertigo because I experienced it quite often in my life.

All the songs on his album are self-written apart from two co-writes. He penned Stop The Messin’ with his bass player Clint Falconer and Heartbeat with Len Muller.
Dan said: “I started writing this album just after the Dear Silence Thieves album was released, so it was written over a two-year period. The inspiration behind the album was very similar to Dear Silence Thieves in the sense that I was trying to marry good songs with the guitar playing.”
