Adrenaline-packed action sports and intense expeditions through exotic landscapes will be featured in the short films to be screened at Buxton Opera House on Thursday, May 5.

The Banff Tour generates a community feel at each location, attracting people with a wide range of outdoor passions who make an annual pilgrimage to a screening in search of new ideas and inspiration.

A diverse collection of the newest films from the global mountain culture and sports community will be showcased on the festival tour.

The programme, which lasts approximately two and a half hours, is selected from more than 350 films which have been entered into the prestigious 40th anniversary edition of the Banff Mountain Film Festival, held in the Canadian Rockies in November last year.
