“A group of us have decided that it is appropriate for us to get together once more as some of us plan retirement or look forward to having grandchildren.”
The first reunion took place in 2000 with a catch up in the school hall.
Julie said: ”This year, we plan to get together on July 11, at the school once more, and we are trying to reach as many of our former classmates as we can and spread the word about we expect will be an emotional night for everyone.
“We know a lot still live around the Staveley/Chesterfield areas. One of our class, Keith Brown, is now the deputy head at what is now Netherthorpe School. He hasn't moved far, but we have friends in all parts of the UK and the US.”
Anyone who wants to go to the reunion should Contact fromer head boy Tim Turner on 07818478111.
