Royal visitors and football heroes spread cheer at Chesterfield Royal Hospital over the years

The coronavirus pandemic has shone a spotlight on the wonderful work being done by frontline staff in our hospitals.

We are so lucky to have a free health service that looks after us throughout our lives and is there to cure and comfort us in our time of need.

Chesterfield Royal Hospital is treasured by the community it serves with residents of the borough raising many thousands to enable it to continue its vital work.
