10. In the late 1960’s I was a member of a traditional jazz band – ‘The Florence Stompers’. We played in local village halls and Miners’ Welfare Clubs in and around Chesterfield and Sheffield. I have a recording of us playing at the Edwin Swale School in Chesterfield during that time and I am eager to pass copies of this onto members of the band. It has been transferred from reel-to-reel tape onto a cd. I have already successfully contacted some of the band members but need your readers help in contacting three more. Does anyone remember or know of the whereabouts of our piano player Tim Stubbins (Middle back) or drummer Stuart Baker (next to Tim)? The trombonist (front right) was Phil but I do not remember his surname. Can you help? Readers can contact me at the address shown below or via [email protected] or via 07977685878. Gordon Beastall
