So much has changed across Chesterfield over the years, but there are still some things that almost all residents who lived through the 70s, 80s and 90s will remember.
A number of Chesterfield’s much-missed venues, landmarks, restaurants and shops are listed below – which would you most like to see return?

1. Sweet memories
The Cadbury Trebor Bassett factory on Brimington Road closed in 2005. The five-acre site was opened on the site of a former brewery next to Chesterfield railway station in 1939. Photo: DT

2. Regal Cinema
The Regal Cinema is pictured here in 1987. Always popular for Chesterfield residents, it eventually became a series of nightclubs after closing as a cinema in 1993 - including Zanzibar, Escapade and Department. The building now lies empty, with the latter of these shutting its doors for the last time more than a decade ago. Photo: Derbyshire Times

3. Hudsons
Hudsons dominated vinyl record sales in Chesterfield for decades and supplied thousands of instruments to the town's aspiring pop stars. The music shop ceased trading in 2012 after 105 years in business. Photo: DT
