“The most amazing thing happened to me today and I have to share it with you.

“Today is my son Arthur’s birthday. He passed away five years ago.

"As I was walking in the rain around where I live in Chesterfield, it was muddy and no-one was really around.

“I walked past a man who was with his wife looking into the distance and as I turned to look at him, I instantly recognised him.

"It was the Vicar who held my son's funeral service. I couldn't believe it and knew straight away it was Arthur communicating with me. I told him that it was Arthur’s birthday.

"To add even more magic to the event, my partner told me that he had had a dream early that morning that I was at Arthur’s grave with a Vicar.

"There was a bird watching us, it was Arthur and the Vicar was translating Arthur’s message to me through the bird who was tweeting at us as we stood at his graveside.

“As I walked back, the pram I was pushing got stuck over a rock and tipped over at the exact same spot where I first saw the Vicar and his wife.

"It forced me to stop and I stood there a while as they walked back down the road and stopped to talk with me again.

"They told me they were from a different town and that they had been visiting the tip in Chesterfield, and were keen birdwatchers.

"I then saw the binoculars round his neck and I told him about the dream. I asked for a photo as I knew that this was a moment I would never forget.

“Losing Arthur to SIDS was the worst thing that’s ever happened to me.

"We co-slept and waking up to find him dead in my arms was terrible and took many years to come to terms with.

"But I do feel like I found great meaning in his death, that it really helped me on my path. There is so much magic and beauty in the world.”
