As a full time singer, Blue hasn’t been able to perform live at venues due to the Covid-19 crisis. This inspired her to show praise and recognition for key workers across the country through her passion.

On April 16, Blue altered he gig a little by taking the opportunity to sing from her front garden which inspired neighbours across the street to follow social distancing guidelines and fill their own front gardens to watch her perform.

Her daughter, Kirsty Hollamby, said: “She’s really been fantastic. I firmly believe she deserves recognition for her performances that she puts together every Thursday evening.

“This is a prime example of one woman bringing the community together by doing something she loves - which is something everyone can enjoy. The response she is getting from locals has been nothing short of incredible, which shows this is just the kind of thing people need right now.”
