The 10 areas of Chesterfield where Covid-19 cases are rising as town placed at HIGH alert level

As Chesterfield braces for a Tier 2 lockdown from this weekend, new data has revealed areas in the town where cases of the virus are increasing- including a neighbourhood with 25 cases.

New data from Public Health England reveals the areas of Chesterfield with the most new cases of Covid-19 between October 4 to October 10, after it was revealed the town along with North East Derbyshire would move from Tier 1 alert level to Tier 2- high.

PHE released a new interactive map, which is made up of lab confirmed positive coronavirus cases that were reported using pillar one and pillar two of the government’s testing programme by NHS hospitals and as part of swab testing for the wider population.

The 10 neighbourhoods below have been worst hit by Covid-19 in the last week.
