Two further Covid-19 deaths recorded in Chesterfield as 784 more die in England

The total number of people who have died at the trust now stands at 61.

In England, a further 784 people, who tested positive for the Coronavirus have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 13,918.

Patients were aged between 26 and 100 years old, and 38 of the 784 patients, aged between 44 and 96 years old, had no known underlying health condition.

Concerns have been raised after healthcare workers have been advised by the government to reuse gowns or wear different PPE, if stocks in England run low.

Unions representing doctors and nurses have expressed concerns about the updated Public Health England guidance.

The government said it is working to provide the PPE stocks hospitals need.
