These are the latest COVID-19 figures for Derbyshire

Public Health England has released the latest figures for coronavirus cases across Derbyshire.

There are now 12 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Derbyshire, as of this afternoon (March 16).

There has been an increase of three since yesterday, when the figure stood at nine.

A total of 1,543 positive tests for coronavirus have been recorded in the UK as of 9am on Monday, up from 1,372 on Sunday.

The number of deaths in the UK is 53.
