In Derbyshire, the weekly Covid-19 infection rate remains below the national average in every area except one.

Across England, the weekly infection rate for the seven days ending on Saturday, January 9, which is the latest date for which the Government says complete data is available, is 622.3 new confirmed cases per 100,000 people.

Derby has a slightly higher rate, of 667.3, while in Derbyshire Dales it is significantly lower, at 244.7.
