The latest Covid-19 cases in every Chesterfield neighbourhood

Chesterfield’s Covid-19 infection rate is rising rapidly, but some neighbourhoods are more badly affected than others.

Following the area’s move into Tier 2, MP for North East Derbyshire Lee Rowley has warned that ‘we are going very rapidly in the wrong direction' after the infection rate in Chesterfield more than doubled in the latest figures.

There were 354 positive cases of coronavirus recorded in Chesterfield between October 19 and 25, meaning that the infection rate leaped to 337 per 100,000 cases in Chesterfield in that week.

However, the infection rate in some parts of Chesterfield is much higher than others, with the number of weekly cases ranging from 36 to 18.

These are the latest number of coronavirus cases recorded in every neighbourhood within Chesterfield during the last week, according to the latest localised data available from Public Health England on the morning of Monday, October 25.
