As part of the club’s efforts to help locals, Mecca has been supporting a homeless shelter in the town and Chesterfield Royal Hospital by preparing and cooking hundreds of meals in its kitchen to be delivered by to vulnerable people in the community during this difficult time.
The initiative, which is being backed by the council and local councillors, will see up to 1,000 meals delivered next week thanks to the partnership with the taxi company.
All food has been donated by Mecca’s food supplier Bitfood.
