Six more Chesterfield patients die from coronavirus as UK announces 936 more deaths

A total of 29 people have now died at the Royal after testing positive for Covid-19.

In total, 828 more people in England have died after testing positive for coronavirus, bringing the death toll to 6,483.

Patients were aged between 22 and 103 years old, and 46 of the 828 patients (aged between 35 and 96 years old) had no known underlying health condition.

The UK is in the middle of the third week of lockdown measures, which Prime Minister Boris Johnson said would be reviewed after three weeks.

However, there is speculation that the lockdown period may be extended.

Wales has already extended its lockdown to beyond the Easter weekend, hours after a minister said was "not the right moment" for the UK as a whole to consider relaxing the restrictions.

After health minister Edward Argar told Kay Burley on Sky News it was "not the right moment" to make any changes, Wales' government confirmed its measures will remain in place beyond the original three weeks laid out by Downing Street last month.

Welsh housing and local government minister Julie James said: "It's almost two-and-a-half weeks since we asked people to stay at home, to work from home whenever they can, and to stop making unnecessary journeys.

"These measures will remain in place next week."

The PM's admission to hospital and subsequent move to intensive care has thrown the timing of the lockdown review into question.
