A total of 330 people had died in the area when the UK coronavirus dashboard was updated on July 27 (Wednesday) – up from 321 a week previously.
They were among 14,669 deaths recorded across the East Midlands.
The figures include anyone who has died within 28 days of having a positive test result for Covid-19, and who lists their usual place of residence as being in Chesterfield.
