The latest Covid-19 infection rate in every part of Derbyshire – including Chesterfield, Bolsover and High Peak

As England begins a second national lockdown, coronavirus infection rates in almost every part of Derbyshire are continuing to rise.

Across the county as a whole, 2,655 people tested positive for Covid-19 during the seven days to October 31 – the latest date for which reliable data is available – giving a weekly infection rate of 330.8 new cases per 100,000 people.

But the infection rate in different parts of Derbyshire varies significantly, from below 200 in the Derbyshire Dales to more than 400 in other areas.

Here is the full breakdown of the latest coronavirus infection rates in different local authorities for the week ending on October 31, according to the latest data from Public Health England, with the rate for the previous seven days in brackets.
