Coronavirus: Latest figures for Derbyshire are released

Public Health England has released the latest figures for coronavirus cases across Derbyshire today (March 20).

The number of cases in Derbyshire is now 50, up from 40.

As of 9am on 20 March 2020, 66,976 people have been tested in the UK, of which 62,993 were confirmed negative and 3,983 were confirmed positive.

As of 1pm, 177 patients in the UK who tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19) have died.

Today Boris Johnson announced that all pubs, bars and restaurants would have to close.
