Chesterfield nears grim milestone as town loses another patient to Covid-19

The most recent Public Health England data released this afternoon (Monday, December 7) shows that additional patient who tested positive for the deadly bug passed away at Chesterfield Royal Hospital.

This brings the town’s coronavirus death toll to 192.

It comes as people over 80 have been told they will soon be contacted by the Trust about receiving the new vaccine after the it was selected as one of the country’s 50 ‘vaccination hubs’.
