Chesterfield named as one of UK's unhealthiest places

Chesterfield is the seventh unhealthiest place in the UK, according to a new study by a health company.

Babylon used information from its Healthcheck app to calculate how healthy people living across the UK are.

The results showed that Chesterfield residents consume an average of 5.2 units of alcohol per week, have 2.7 drinking sessions per week, and eat 2.2 portions of fruit and veg per day.

Twenty nine per cent of adults smoke, averaging 13.6 cigarettes per day, and 46 per cent of people who once smoked have now quit.

People in Chesterfield do 98.3 minutes of moderate exercise, 20.4 minutes of intense exercise, and resistance exercise 0.4 times per week on average.
