Entire Chesterfield school closed down with staff and pupils sent home after ‘fire alarm fault’

Pupils and staff have been sent home from Brookfield Community School this morning (Thursday, November 5) after it closed with ‘immediate effect’ due to a problem with the fire alarm system.
A statement on the school’s website reads: “Due to a technical fault this morning with the fire alarm system the school will close with immediate effect for all students and staff.
"Engineers will be on site shortly to assess the situation.

Hide Ad"Students are currently with their Form Tutors and they will be sent home once it has been confirmed with their Head of Year that they are able to do so.”
